On September 8, 2011, Shelagh and Bob began a two month journey by bicycle along Adventure Cycling Association's Sierra Cascades Route. It was truly a trip of extreme's - from 99 degree temperature climbing over Washington Pass in the Northern Cascades, to Snow at Mt. Shasta. The final statistics: 2,000 miles and 145,000ft. of climbing. Enjoy the blog .

NO SERVICES
While this sign was at the beginning of our road today, it's a good symbol for many of our roads. No Services has doubled the time we usually take each evening in figuring out where to stay, and what we need to take with us for the day.
